CA Course Duration

To completer CA it takes around 4.5 years on whole. The only challenge is that you have to complete all its levels with all subjects in your first attempt. Because each number of attempt you fail, the duration increases, your six months in this journey.

In order to make a career as CA profession one needs to have completed 10th std. At the same, one should take an admission for 11th and 12th std. One can study intermediate i.e., 11th and 12th from any stream but its advisable to take an admission for the Commerce becuase it helps to learn CA easily.

CA exam course stages

  1. Common Proficiency Test (CPT)
  2. IPCC Group I and II course
  3. Complete a 3 years artcileship ( practical training ), 100 hours ITT training
  4. CA Final Group I and II

After completion of 12th std, you need to give a CA -Common Proficiency Test (CPT), its a qualifying exam for CA. After clearing CPT even with the qualifying marks, you need to  go for the IPCC Group I and II courses and also need to complete a 3 years artcileship, 100 hours ITT training and after this you will be eligible for the CA Final Group I and II. On successfully completing all the levels you become a ceritified CA.

CA as career

Remember that CA is not full time degree, its a part time Professional degree and so you also go for the B.com along with the CA course.

But here is something you need to know! the course is very challenging and can be quite stressful to handle. You cannot hope to be a successful CA if you do not put in all your efforts during CA academics.

And it is not an easy task to keep yourself constantly motivated to give your 100% unless you really like the subjects present in the course.
